Pchem Line & Hemo One

General Questions for Pchem Line & Hemo One

Each cuvette carousel is composed by 80 cuvettes and you can perform totally 20000 tests. This means that each cuvette can performs 250 tests.

It depends on chemical staff settings/reagents used datasheets. The information can be inserted in the software and it will remind the user when a calibration validity is expired.

One of our control bottles, after it has been reconstituted, contains 5ml of liquid. The number of tests depends on how you store the control (cooling/freezing) and how often do you perform them.

6 months for peristaltic pump tubing and 1 year for fluidic tubing.

It depends on the number of test each kit allows you to perform. Considering that solution consumption is negligible for a single test you can divide price of the kit for the number of tests it allows you to perform.

The waste is ≤3% of the total volume for both kind of bottles used, that are 50ml (usually for R1) or 20ml one (usually for R2).

It depends on the instrument: for PCHEM 1 is 3 liters per hour (typical) for PCHEM2 and PCHEM3 is 4 liters per hour (typical). Bi-distilled water is absolutely needed to prepare on line solutions used by the system to work.

Yes: the instrument is designed for continuous loading and random access.

Yes: the instrument is equipped with STAT function. Each sample position in the instrument, can be defined as a STAT position.

No: each position can be decided by the user.

Dilutions can be programmed for samples and standards. There is the possibility of post-diluting out of linearity, out of range or substrate depleted samples.

Yes you can: the reagents’ carrousel is refrigerated by Peltier elements.

Up to 4: Systemic and Cleaner on-line solutions used during normal work; EW CVT (Extra Wash Cuvette) Rinse Solution, used for an extra washing procedure of reaction cuvettes; EW PRB (Extra Wash Probe)Rinse Solution, used for an extra washing procedure of sampling probe.

Only EW CVT Rinse Solution and EW PRB Rinse solution. The other solutions must be prepared according to Instructions for Use.

PCHEM 1: from 120 to 180 tests/hr.

PCHEM 2: from 200 to 360 tests/hr (mono arm) to 420 tests/hr (dual arm)

PCHEM 3: from 300 to 500 tests/hr.

HEMO ONE: up to 60 tests/hr.

It depends on instrument’s configuration (reagents’ positions in the tray) and on kit’s kind (mono- or bi-reagent).

Yes: the last position is always dedicated to diluent.

Troubleshooting and Maintenance

Yes: the software is equipped with an internal counter, that counts the number of executed tests.

Yes: it exists for vertical probe’s movement.
