Online Registration Policy

Online Registration - Privacy Policy

This privacy notice pursuant to sect. 13 of Legislative Decree no. 196/03 (the “Privacy Code”) is given by Adaltis S.r.l. (the “Data Controller”) in relation to personal data collected through the website www.adaltis.net (the “Website”). The Data Controller shall be entitled to process your personal data for the purposes and with the modalities listed below.

1.1. The processing of personal data is aimed at the following purposes, connected to the registration with the Website and to the execution and performance of the sale agreements, if any, which the data subject may enter into with the Data Controller through the Website:

a) for managing the registration to the Website and providing any services in connection thereto;

b) for entering into and performing sale and purchase agreements;

c) for complying with any obligation imposed by laws and regulations in force from time to time;

d) for operating and managing needs;

e) for monitoring and/or improving relations with customers and/or for monitoring and managing risks connected to such relations.

1.2. Data will be processed with the above purposes for the whole term of the registration with the Website and also thereafter for the fulfillment of all statutory duties and the managing of risks connected with the sale agreements, if any, entered into with the Data subject.

1.1. Data processing may encompass all operations indicated in Sect. 4, paragraph 1, subparagraph a) of the Privacy Code: collection, filing, management, storage, referencing, processing, modification, selection, screening, retrieval, comparison, use, interconnection, blockage, disclosure, cancellation and destruction of data. Data may be processed on paper as well as by means of computerised and/or electronic or anyhow automated equipment.

1.2. Data will be processed by the Data Controller and/or by persons in charge or data processors, so that safety and confidentiality of data will be ensured in accordance with the provisions of the Privacy Code. In particular, all the necessary technical, informational, organisational, logistical and procedural security measures provided by the Privacy Code shall be adopted, so that the minimum level of protection provided by law is guaranteed. Moreover, the procedures applied ensure that data access is allowed only to the persons in charge of data processing.

1.1. The data subject’s refusal to provide the required data, albeit lawful, may entail the impossibility to carry out the registration with the Website as well as the execution and performance of sale and purchase agreements, if any. 

The personal data of the data subjects shall not be communicated nor disseminated, without prejudice to the exceptions permitted by law and those outlined in this data protection policy. In particular, personal data may be communicated, for the purposes described above, to members of the board of directors of the Data Controller, professionals/external consultants/companies belonging to the Batm Group, companies which carry out activities on behalf of the Data Controller, banks, insurance companies, carrier, freight forwarders. Such subjects shall process personal data as data processors appointed by the Data Controller, or independent data controllers, as the case may be.

As long as it is strictly necessary for the performance of the Data Controller’s obligations vis-à-vis the Data subject, personal data may be transferred to EU member states and also to third countries granting a level of protection comparable to the EU.

Sect. 7 of the Privacy Code entitles the Data subject

a) to obtain from the data controller confirmation of the existence or non-existence of his/her personal data and their availability in an intelligible manner;

b) to know the source of the data, the purposes and methods of the processing, the logic applied to the processing if the latter is carried out with the help of electronic means, the identification data concerning the Data Controller and data processors and the subjects or categories of subjects to whom such data might be disclosed;

c) to obtain the update, correction and integration of data, the cancellation, anonymisation or the blockage of data processed unlawfully;

d) on legitimate grounds, to oppose data processing, exception made for the mandatory processing set forth by the law.
